The Chief Managers (CMs) will have following key responsibilities:

 

Management of existing Projects

 

Including ensuring responsible for completion of the project/s on time within budget and handling variety of tasks including, but not limited to, coordinating with all resources and stakeholders; setting deadlines; assigning responsibilities; and monitoring, summarizing and communicating the progress of the project to Head Office

 

Business Development

 

Proactively assessing new opportunities in the Skill Development sector in his/her State and following up on them and assisting the BD team in the Head Office to secure new business

 

CMs Responsibilities:

 

  • Operations

 

Set up Skill Development Centres within project timelines and budgets

Mobilize and enrol students for the skill training programs as per the targets for 100% capacity utilization of the centres

Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on activities as per specifications

Alumni tracking and follow up with the students to start their enterprise/shop (self employment)

 

  • Business Development

 

Network with key stakeholders in the state and identify new opportunities for business development

Independently follow-up on those opportunities

Coordinate with the BD team in the HO for deal closure

 

  • People Management

 

Hiring through local network for Center Head, Mobilizers, Trainers, Coordinators positions

Assigning responsibilities to team

Ensure delivery of center level targets from mobilization to handholding of candidates within stipulated time.

Inspiring, leading and managing teams effectively

Bringing accountability to the team

Provide support to the HR processes

 

  • P&L Responsibility

 

Preparing and managing budgets for the state

Revenue generation for the given state, as per business plan

Responsible for monitoring operating and capital expenditure of the state

 

  • Liasioning

 

Liaise with government authorities / market partners and adhere to the commitments as per the MOU of respective project

Coordinate with, Government, funding agency and partner organizations for smooth functioning and prompt payments

Network with local NGOs

 

  • Compliances

 

Ensuring full compliances to laid down Quality systems o Maintaining accounting standards in centers and ensuring 100% compliances in the state

Comply with organizational policies

Meeting requirements of internal and external stakeholders

 

CMs Specifications:

 

  • Graduate in any stream from any recognized university with 3-5 years of experience in managing field operations, people management, budgeting and profit and loss responsibilities.
  • Business Development experience will be highly valued
  • Excellent networks in the State for both project management and business development
  • Ready to travel extensively
  • Highly performance oriented / target oriented and ready to work in high pressure environment in corporate setup
  • Excellent team player, with the ability to work in a collaborative and consultative manner
  • Ability to manage various projects independently
